Getting to Inis Oírr from Galway
Are you planning on joining us for the 2026 GFS Screenings on Inis Oírr on the 14th of June? Here’s a quick guide on getting to the island from Galway, three ways.

Via Doolin Pier
Take the 351 bus route from Eyre Square out to Doolin Pier, and pick up the ferry across to Inis Oírr from there.

Via Rosaveel
When you book the ferry from Rosaveel, you can include a shuttle bus in your ticket. It picks up from Victoria Place in Galway and takes you straight to the pier.

Via Connemara Airport
There are flights to the island from Connemara Airport, but bear in mind there are no public transport options out to the airport itself, so this only really works with your own car, a lift, or a taxi.
